How it All Began…
Freddie, A Franco-American artist and Event Planner felt in love with Cinque Terre on a quick trip to Florence back in 2000. While driving down the coast from Nice-FR, she thought that these rugged hills, crystal blue waters and “Cliff-hanging” villages were the most seductive place on earth. These vertiginous coastal villages, terraced vineyards and addictive scents kept her dreaming for another 22 years! in 2016 she took another trip to Florence and convinced her then husband to stop in Cinque Terre (she had done some research and found out more about the then well-known protected area of Cinque Terre National Park).
While staying in Manorola, she walked and hiked everyday and felt in love with the small & lovely little village of Corniglia- She carried her watercolor boxes and painted “en plein air”, she thought she could be very happy staying and living there… Little she knew that a couple of years later she would meet in NYC her loving Franco “il Lupo”, who would take her back to these magic coves & colorful cliffside houses tumbling gracefully down precipitous rocky hillsides… This is truly a story of love, for all nature-lovers!
