Trento Longaretti loved his "Mill", he renovated the dilapidated Stone-wall house in 1988 and came 4 months a year to paint and be in harmony with nature- «Here I fall in love with the green. The green? That's right: Coniglia's green is unique - says the master - It has shades that are not found elsewhere. The green of the terraces, that of the vineyards that give life to a wine that is as difficult to produce as it is easy to taste. On the Lower Level…
Olive Oil Stone Grinding & Artist Studio
Closer to the outdoor stream, fresh all year, this is where the large heavy olive mill stone once turned and crushed the olives of Corniglia farmers. There are still active Olive mills in Cinque Terre applying ancestral and organic farming methods to produce a delicious DOP Riviera Ligure oil from Razzola, Tajasca and Leccino’s olive groves. Ligurian oil has a light, golden yellow color and a mild fruity taste. Modern machines cannot be used on the hilly slopes of Cinque Terre, making Cinque Terre olive oil extra special and tasty- Plan to come visit around November if you want to be there for the harvest!
