How it all began…

Come meet me- Fede, A Franco-American in love with Cinque Terre

Fede [Frederique] , a Franco-American artist and event planner, first fell in love with the Cinque Terre during a quick trip to Florence in 2000. Driving down the coast from Nice, she was instantly captivated by the rugged hills, crystal-blue waters, and cliff-hanging villages—“the most seductive place on earth,” she thought. The terraced vineyards, the perfume of the Mediterranean, and the dramatic coastline stayed with her for 22 years.

In 2016, she returned to Florence and convinced her travel partner to stop in the Cinque Terre. Staying in Manarola, they spent their days walking and hiking the trails, eventually discovering the quiet charm of Corniglia. Carrying her watercolors, she painted en plein air and dreamed of someday living in this little village perched high above the sea.

She had no idea that a few years later, she would meet her beloved Franco—“il Lupo” in New York City—This connection lead her back to these magical coves and colorful cliffside houses tumbling toward the sea. In 2022 she bought the Frantoio from the Longaretti family, restored the home meticulously, and began welcoming friends and family into the place. This is where your love of nature can truly blossomed.

This adventure is an invitation—come experience the beauty, the simplicity, and the enchantment of the Cinque Terre with us.
